Open Position Unity Engineer
Job Description ・Duties to be performed: Programming work and all related tasks
・Assigned role: Participate in our development team as a Unity engineer for various XR and game development projects
・Involved in: Planning, Requirements Definition, Basic Design, Detailed Design, Implementation, Testing, Operation/Maintenance
Desired Qualifications ・Required Skills
- Development experience with Unity (C#)
- Interest in or basic knowledge of cutting-edge technologies such as XR (AR/VR/MR), the Metaverse, and AI

・Preferred Skills
- Understanding of design thinking and user experience (UX)
- Basic knowledge of 3D modeling and computer graphics (CG)
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies
- English and Japanese communication skills (basic level or above)
Working Hours ・ Flextime system (Standard working hours: 8 hours/day, Core time: 11:00–15:00, Flexible time: 8:00–11:00, 15:00–21:00)
・Two days off per week (Saturdays, Sundays, and national holidays), Paid leave (in accordance with legal requirements)

Salary Monthly salary of ¥300,000 or more – Contract employee
Includes fixed overtime pay: A monthly salary of ¥300,000 or more includes ¥40,541 for 20 hours of fixed overtime. Overtime exceeding 20 hours will be paid additionally.
・Salary increase: Once a year
※However, salary increases may not be granted depending on individual performance or company performance
・Bonuses: 5 times a year (Fiscal year-end bonus: May, Performance-based bonuses: March, June, September, December)

Mankind Games Inc. (hereinafter referred to as “the Company”) establishes the following privacy policy (hereinafter referred to as “this Policy”) regarding the handling of users’ personal information for the services (hereinafter referred to as “the Services”) provided on this website.

“Personal Information” refers to information defined as “personal information” under the Personal Information Protection Act of Japan. This includes information related to a living individual that can identify a specific individual through details such as name, date of birth, address, phone number, contact information, or other descriptions. It also includes data related to physical features, fingerprints, voiceprints, and identifiers such as health insurance numbers that can identify a specific individual on their own.

The Company may ask for personal information, such as name, date of birth, address, phone number, email address, bank account number, credit card number, and driver’s license number, during user registration. Additionally, we may collect information, including transaction records and payment information containing users’ personal information, from our partners (including information providers, advertisers, and ad distributors).

Article 3 (Purpose of Collecting and Using Personal Information)

The purposes for which the Company collects and uses personal information are as follows:

  • To provide and manage the Services
  • To respond to user inquiries, including verifying identity
  • To send updates, new features, campaign information, and details about other services offered by the Company
  • To contact users as necessary for maintenance and important notifications
  • To identify and deny access to users who violate the Terms of Service or attempt to use the Services for unlawful purposes
  • To allow users to view, edit, and delete their registered information or view their usage history
  • To charge users for paid services
  • For purposes incidental to the above

Article 4 (Changes to the Purpose of Use)

The Company may change the purposes of use of personal information only when reasonably related to the original purposes. Any changes will be notified to users or announced on this website through prescribed methods.

Article 5 (Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties)

The Company will not provide personal information to third parties without prior consent from users, except in the following cases or as permitted by the Personal Information Protection Act or other laws:

  • When necessary to protect human life, body, or property, and obtaining user consent is difficult
  • When particularly necessary to improve public health or promote the sound development of children, and obtaining user consent is difficult
  • When cooperation with a government agency, local government, or their contractor is required to execute legal duties, and obtaining user consent could hinder the execution of such duties
  • When the following have been notified or disclosed in advance, and the Company has reported to the Personal Information Protection Commission:
    • Inclusion of third-party provision in the purposes of use

Article 6 (Disclosure of Personal Information)

Upon request from a user, the Company will promptly disclose personal information to the user. However, disclosure may be withheld, in whole or in part, in the following cases, and users will be notified if disclosure is not provided:

  • If it may harm the life, body, property, or other rights of the user or a third party
  • If it may significantly hinder the proper operation of the Company’s business

Article 7 (Correction and Deletion of Personal Information)

If a user believes that the Company holds incorrect personal information, they may request correction, addition, or deletion (“Corrections”) following the Company’s prescribed procedures. Upon determining the necessity of such a request, the Company will promptly make the required Corrections.

Article 8 (Suspension of Use of Personal Information)

If a user requests suspension or deletion of their personal information (“Suspension”) due to reasons such as use beyond the intended scope or acquisition by improper means, the Company will promptly investigate and take appropriate actions.

Article 9 (Changes to This Policy)

The Company may change the content of this Policy without notifying users, except as otherwise required by law or specified in this Policy.
